DSLAM IES-1000 Zyxel

IES-1000 DSLAM adalah Ethernet switch terintegrasi yang memungkinkan data multiplexing hingga 16 jalur G. SHDSL atau lalu lintas ADSL ke jaringan Ethernet menggunakan kabel saluran telepon yang ada sebelum diteruskan ke internet.

Perangkat ini bahkan dapat menggabungkan hingga 8 G. SHDSL dan 8 Garis ADSL. Jika digunakan bersama dengan modem DSL ZyXEL dan router WAN, kombinasi tersebut dapat membentuk solusi terintegrasi untuk menyediakan layanan broadband untuk beberapa unit seperti apartemen, hotel, kantor, dan gedung kampus.

G. SHDSL adalah singkatan dari Single-pair High-speed Digital Subscriber Line. "G." dalam "SHDSL" yang ditentukan oleh ITU-T G.991.2. ADSL adalah singkatan dari Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line.

IES-1000 adalah versi kotak dari node akses multi-layanan berbasis IP (MSAN). Perangkat ini memiliki 2 slot untuk berbagai macam modul saluran DSL dan VoIP untuk menyediakan layanan ADSL2 +, G.SHDSL dan VoIP untuk pelanggan rumah dan bisnis. Perangkat ini menterminasi traffic ATM dari koneksi DSL dan sinyal suara POTS untuk mengubahnya menjadi paket IP dan merutekannya melalui jaringan IP.
